Derek Mapp
Executive Chairman, aged 58
Appointed executive chairman of Imagesound plc in September 2005. Originally a founder
investor in Imagesound Limited at its inception in 1998. He also holds the positions of non-executive chairman
of Staffline Recruitment plc, non-executive chairman of Informa plc and non-executive chairman
of Salmon Develpoments plc. He has a number of private family businesses in farming and
property development.
Ken Pratt
Managing Director, Operations and Finance, aged 57
Ken Pratt is a chartered management accountant and was appointed managing director of
operations and finance of Imagesound plc in December 2007. He had joined the group as finance director
and company secretary in March 2006 following over 13 successful years’ involvement in venture capital backed
companies primarily within the leisure industry. Ken was previously finance director for Tom Cobleigh Plc and
Eton Group Limited. Earlier in his career Ken also held senior management positions with Shell, Unilever and
The Littlewoods Organisation. Ken is also a lay member of the Lord Chancellor's Advisory Committee for
Nottinghamshire.
David Clayton-Smith
Non-executive Director, aged 54
David Clayton-Smith is a director and co-founder of Andrum Consulting.
He has worked as a consultant for five years advising on strategic projects for blue-chip clients including, M&S
and National Savings and Investment. From 1999 to 2005, he was non-executive director and strategic advisor to handbag.com,
Europe's largest online magazine for women. He is also a trustee of The Fairtrade Foundation. David spent twelve years
as executive director for retailers Halfords, Boots the Chemists and Do It All. David's early career was spent with
Courage Limited where his final position was group marketing director.
Michael Clark
Managing Director, UK and Worldwide Sales, aged 51
Michael was the founder of Imagesound Ltd and is a significant shareholder of Imagesound plc.
He gained corporate sales and management experience with Yorkshire Bank Finance and Ford Motor Company before
entering the background music industry in 1988. Since then Michael has been instrumental in the development and
growth of three successful companies operating in this sector: Access Music, AEI and TTL. In 1998 Michael
organised an MBO from TTL to establish Imagesound Limited, which was then acquired by the group in 2004.
Richard Gregory OBE
Senior Independent Non-executive Director, Chairman of remuneration committee, aged 53
Richard is a former managing director of Yorkshire Television. Currently he is a non-executive
director of National Australia Group Europe Ltd, including Yorkshire Bank chair and a director of Clydesdale
Bank plc. He is a non-executive director of Business in the Community Ltd and chair of Yorkshire Science and Science City
York Board. He is chairman of Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Stephen Yapp
Non-executive Director, Chairman of audit committee, aged 51
Appointed to the board in January 2007, Stephen holds the position of Chairman of Watermark plc.
Prior to this, Stephen was chief executive of DCS Group, the software and services provider to the European
Logistics and Automotive Markets, which he joined in 2001. Stephen brings a wealth of experience of working
with international listed companies, including as finance director of SGB and Arjo Wiggins Appleton Speciality Paper.
